We finished up our Duck hunting season with two great youth hunts. They managed to harvest raccoons, ducks, and rabbits all in one weekend. We are blessed to have such a special place to enjoy. Thank everyone for a great and safe hunting season.
The guys had a great hunt this past Saturday in the Impoundment. Carlton Williams and Les High killed three black ducks, one mallard, one gadwall and a pair of wood ducks. We are holding plenty of birds in the area. The big ducks are getting a little gun shy so be patient with them in

The sunflowers and dove fields are looking great. The birds should start to show up around the second week of August. The sorghum and corn in the impoundments are also looking great. We took delivery of 150 five week old mallards this morning. We have another 150 coming next week. Things are looking great and the Bass were biting this morning. Sunflowers are coming along well and the corn crop is strong.
